Creating Floating Tabs for your Planner
List of supplies for making Floating tabs:
Teresa Collins Studio Tab Printout (it's free!)
Neenah Cardstock, 90 lb/163 gsm, 94 Brightness, 8.5" x 11"
I like this weight paper for my tabs because it gives them just a little bit of heft & sturdiness
The printer I use is the ‘HP Color LaserJet MFP M278-M281,’ but this one is a couple years old, so they don’t make it any more. Here is the most comparable printer that HP makes:
HP Color LaserJet Pro M283fdw
Also available at Costco, where I originally got my printer.
But honestly any laser printer will do; you can even take your printables to any place that offers printing. (FedEx Office, Office Depot, Staples, your local copy shop, public library)
Deco Foil in Gold
Honestly you can use any color or brand of toner reactive foil.
*Alternatively you can also use the clear plastic from packaging .
Teflon Bone Folder
I love a Teflon bone folder over a plastic bone folder because it slides over that paper better and doesn't leave a burning mark on the paper when you're creating a tight fold.
Double Sided, super sticky tape, Sookwang/Scor-Tape
The laminator I use - Follows Jupiter 2 125
This is wholly overkill for most people, but I love to laminate planner covers with 10mil & make badges.
The Glaminator by Xyron
They made a Teresa Collins Version, but I'm not sure if it's in production any more.
Parchment Paper - can be found at your grocery store in the section with plastic wrap & aluminium foil. I use the parchment paper from Costco (it’s not available on the general site).

I don’t know if anyone noticed, but my planner changed a little since the last time I shared it. I chopped it up! I pulled the staples out, cut the pages in half, punched them with a mushroom hole punch, and put it on flashy gold discs.
I was, and still am, struggling with finding planner peace. I was OK till the school year started and schedules changed. I need to find something that works for me! Chopping up my planner helped.
I’m super excited for the Fall 2020 release of Teresa Collins’ planner colab with Franklin Planner. I suppose I can hold on till September or October!
